How do you clean an awning.
While you wait for the water to run off fill the bucket with lukewarm water and dilute the dawn.
Consult your awning service manual or contact the manufacturer about applying a protective coating to the awning after it has been cleaned.
Once that s done use.
Roll up your awning.
Let the mixture sit there for about an hour.
The first step in cleaning an awning is to use a broom to sweep away any loose leaves dirt cobwebs or other debris.
Awnings will however begin to break down if you don t clean them properly.
Take your shoes off before you step onto the awning.
Once you ve removed as much debris as you can spray your awnings with plain water.
This way i can just spray the awning and clean out the rv while the mixture is.
Do this on a hot sunny day.
Don t forget to sweep out the underside as well.
I like to do this every fall when i am already cleaning out my rv.
First fully extend your awning and clean any large debris or bird droppings off that may have become trapped when the awning was retracted.

Rinse your awnings with clean water every month or so when they are in use.
